Tony says:
“It is my birthday wish for the next generation to be the pioneers of a world without cruelty to animals. Instead of gifts, donations to OneKind will help children change the world for animals.
"I hope many people will consider pledging their own birthday as well, to help OneKind’s cause.”
Tony retired from the House of Commons in 2001, after 50 years in frontline politics; making him the longest serving Labour MP in the history of the party. He continues to be admired and respected across the political spectrum.
