It’s also a huge comfort to know that all donations, raised in memory of your loved one will be used to protect the lives of vulnerable animals.
You can donate in memory the following ways:
- make an online donation
- set up a direct debit in memory of your loved one
- Send a donation directly to OneKind, along with the name of the person whose memory you are honouring to; 50 Montrose Terrace, Edinburgh, EH7 5DL
- Or call us on 0131 661 9734 and we will be happy to take your details over the phone
Donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral
If you are arranging a funeral or memorial service for a loved one, you may wish to ask friends and relatives to donate to charity instead of buying flowers.
If you wish to collect for OneKind in this way we can provide you with support materials that can be handed out or left on seats at the service. Funeral directors are normally happy to assist with this and we can send information directly to them.

Creating an online tribute page
A simple and convenient way in which to commemorate the life of a loved one is to set up a special online memorial page on Virgin Money Giving. Once there, click on ‘Create your page’ and then ‘Someone special.’ You can then personalise your page with a photo of your loved one and family and friends can leave messages when they donate. Please remember to specify the person's name in the text on your Virgin Money Giving page. If you would like help to set up your page please contact us on 0131 661 9734 or email info@onekind.org.
Setting up a memorial fund
A memorial fund set up in your loved one’s name is another very special way to remember their life. All you need to do is to let us know the name of the person you are raising money in memory of and we will set up a memorial fund for you. We will also provide you with ongoing updates on your fund total and support you with any fundraising you may like to do for us.

If you are arranging a collection at one of your services please can you ensure that cheques are made payable to OneKind. We will be happy to supply you with any support materials to assist with the collection, such as Gift Aid Forms and Donation Envelopes.
